Service Description:
Amman Chamber of Industry issues certificates of origin to its industrial members that renewed their annual subscriptions according to the conditions and rules of the agreements signed between Jordan and the other countries, and within specific instructions issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies. The certificate of origin is a pass for the goods to the various countries. A form was adopted, under the economic agreements. The certificate stated in this form should be submitted in order to obtain customs exemptions for goods or reduce the customs value, according to the relevant agreement signed by Jordan.
Service Provision Steps:
Amman Chamber of Industry allows two channels to obtain the certificate of origin. First channel: Online, as follows: 1. The authorized representative of the Company to enter the certificates of origin online enters the information of the certificate of origin, according to the export invoice, attaches a copy of the certificate, and identifies the method of payment, either in cash upon attendance, or through e-fawateercom, and sends it. 2. The officer in charge will verify the information of the certificate of origin entered online, match it with the attached invoices, and then approve it. 3. If payment is made through e-fawateercom, a letter indicating the serial number and payment through e-fawateercom will be sent to the mail of the company. 4. After payment, the employee of the company may visit any branch with the original export invoices to obtain the certificate of origin and authenticate the export invoices. Second channel: Through service centers, as follows: 1. Export invoices are submitted to the service officer. 2. The officer verifies the invoices according to the instructions and enters them on the computer system. 3. A receipt voucher is issued by the officer and the certificate of origin is printed and delivered to the company representative.

If the transaction is entered online, the certificate of origin will require 3-4 minutes to be obtained. If the transaction is not entered online, it will require 7-9 minutes, after the transaction is verified.

Necessary Documents and Papers for Obtaining the Service
First: Commercial invoice with the following specifications:
1. A commercial invoice and not a quotation.
2. Name and address of the issuing entity, according to the commercial register at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
3. Name and address of the consignee.
4. Type and specifications of the goods in terms of type, quantity, value and origin.
5. Value of the goods to be exported in number and letters and the currency of the total invoice value.
6. Gross weight of the goods and/or net weight and/or number of packages.
7. Number and date of the invoice, provided that the same number is not used in the single financial year.
8. The trade mark of the goods (if any) and a photo of the trade mark upon its registration at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
9. The invoice should be original and signed and sealed by the administrative or financial authorized representative of the company, or any person authorized by a written authorization issued by any person who has the power to issue authorizations on behalf of the entity that issued the invoice.
10. Declaration by the exporter as follows: “This is to certify that this invoice is accurate and correct and that it is the sole invoice issued by us concerning the goods indicated in the invoice, that the prices indicated in the invoice reflect the actual value of the goods, and that the goods are of origin”. The country of origin should be stated.
11. If the exporter does not produce the goods, a supporting invoice issued by the producer company, duly signed and sealed, and on which the origin of the goods and the phrase (No objection to export) are indicated should be attached.
12. A commercial invoice and not a quotation.
13. Matching the signatures of the authorized signatories approved by the Chamber on the invoice.
Second: In the case of a foreign origin/transit or free zone goods:
The customs manifest, attached invoices, and the certificate of foreign origin should be attached with the export invoice.
