Objectives: 

1. To offer specialized guidance services directly to the factories fulfilling the needs of factories in various fields.
2. Develop competitive capabilities and raise the awareness levels in the various fields concerning the industrial sector.
3. Enhance the level of communication between the Amman Chamber of Industry and its members.

Conditions which must be met by the factories qualifying them to benefit from the services of the program:

Membership of the Amman Chamber of Industry and renewal of annual membership. 

Main Services: 

Field visits to the factories and providing specialized advisory services by a group of engineers from among the personnel of the Department of Industrial Development in the Chamber, covering the following main domains:

Œ	Development of Production Methods: - Utilization of methods of industrial engineering such as: 5S, Lean Manufacturing	Œ	Management of Quality, Specifications and Standards: - Requirements for obtaining international specifications certificates for quality management systems such as: ISO 900I, ISO 22000, HACCP - Requirements for obtaining the international conformity Mark necessary for exporting such as CE, UL - Jordanian specifications and standards and the related regulations and instructions
Œ	Programs of Technical and Financial Assistance: - Services offered by the assistance programs - Conditions and mechanism for benefiting from the assistance programs
Œ	Export and International Marketing:  - Mechanism of studying the targeted markets/Reports on markets, foreign trade statistics, standards requirements, and the quality standards necessary for export Mechanism of promotion for target markets\Specialized exhibitions, and finding trade partners and importers	Œ	Environmental Protection: - Requirements of environmental regulations and instructions and the mechanisms of implementation - Mechanisms of solid and hazardous waste management - Treatment of industrial waste water
Œ	Free Trade Agreements Between Jordan and Various Countries of the World and the rules of origin: - Opportunities provided by the agreements in terms of reducing custom fees on exported products - Requirements of rules of origin related to agreements - Procedures of obtaining preferential certificates of origin	Œ	Occupational Safety and Health: - Requirement of occupational safety and health regulations and the mechanisms of applying them  - Requirements and mechanisms of protection from industrial hazards
Œ	Issues and Obstacles Facing the Factory: - Issues and obstacles related to any of the abovementioned fields.	Œ	Energy Saving:  - Opportunities and mechanisms of energy saving in the various systems and equipment of the factory - Opportunities and mechanisms of saving water utilized in industrial applications

Note:

The services of this program are rendered free of charge.

Work Mechanism of the Program: 

1. The factory which wishes to benefit from the services of the program shall complete the application form particular to the program (Click here FIA1) through which the main domains of the required service and the relevant main problems and Email or by hand to the Amman Chamber of Industry- Department of Industrial Development. 
2. The Department of Industrial Development shall do the following: 
   2.1 Study the application and communicate with the representative of the factory to set an appointment for undertaking a field visit to the factory.
   2.2 Undertake a field visit, based on which the needs and problems of the factory are identified and analyzed as relates to the main guidance domains requested. 
   2.3 Research and follow up and thence prepare a brief report including a description of the foremost needs of the factory and the relevant advise. 
   2.4 Undertake a second visit to the factory and hold a meeting with the factory representative through which the following shall take place:
   2.4.1 Present the proposed guidance to the factory representative with elaboration, as well as offer advice and respond to questions.
   2.4.2 Present documentation and information related to the guidance proposals and explain how to benefit from them.
