The Jordan Chamber of Industry welcomed the government's steps to enhance procedures to facilitate the access of a list of priority Jordanian goods to the Palestinian market.
Industrialists stressed the importance of this agreement, which serves the Palestinian market in the first place, stressing that the Jordanian national industry is at the service of the brothers and families in Palestine.
The industrialists pointed out that serving the brothers in Palestine is a sacred duty and obligation, because Jordan and Palestine are twins that are not separated by borders, origins, or geography. The heart is in Amman and the pulse is in Palestine.
They stressed that the Jordanian industry is the outlet for the Palestinian market as a result of the pressures of the occupation and the measures it exercises in the Palestinian cities, praising this possible step for the national industry, especially since the government created a joint benefit for the national industry and the Palestinian market through this agreement.
Industrialists said that the Palestinian market relies on the Jordanian market to a large extent, stressing the importance of the Jordanian move towards the flow of Jordanian goods, especially since supporting the brothers in Palestine is a duty for everyone.
They stressed that Jordanian goods under the agreement will enjoy high competitiveness, especially since there are 425 Jordanian goods and an annual value of about $500 million.
They stressed that this volume of commodities increases production efficiency in Jordanian factories, especially since Jordanian standards are high and conform to the requirements of markets in the region and the world.
And they reaffirmed that the industrial sector, with its full stature in Jordan, stands united in support of our people in Palestine, saluting the steadfast families of beloved Palestine, as always directed by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein.
