The head of the
Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, confirmed that
the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the factories confirms the
importance of the role of the Jordanian industry and is considered a support
for productive efficiency, and is positively reflected on the reality of
competitiveness.
On Monday, His Majesty the King visited the factories of the Philadelphia Solar
Energy Company, the Ben Al-Ameed Company, and the Saudi Jordanian Industrial
Development Company "Jordina", in the Qastal area, south of the
capital, Amman. In a press statement on Tuesday, Eng. Jaghbir said that
His Majesty's visit to the factories is a message to the government that
national industries should be at the top of its economic priorities and always
place them on the official daily follow-up agenda. He stressed that when
His Majesty the King visits factories, learns about success stories and listens
to challenges, he presents a message to attract foreign investment, which
enjoys direct royal patronage.
Eng. Jaghbir stressed that His Majesty the King is the main supporter of the
industrial wheel, as he always directs His Majesty to overcome the obstacles
facing the industry and find ways to support the reality of the national
industry.
He pointed out that many of the markets that receive national exports came as a
result of the political relations documented by His Majesty during his
international visits.
Eng. Jaghbir pointed out that Jordanian factories offer a distinctive product
that conforms to the highest Jordanian, European and even American
specifications, which allows national exports to enter those markets with a
good flow.
