The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, said that Jordan's exports to the United States of America constituted about 25 percent of the Kingdom's total exports during the past year 2020.

In addition to its contribution to the transfer of American manufacturing and marketing expertise to the Kingdom, through 75 facilities operating in the apparel and knitting sector, the majority of which were established with foreign investment for the purpose of exporting to the American market.

And he indicated that the agreement is one of the most effective trade agreements signed by Jordan with various global economic blocs, in terms of trade volumes supported by smooth administrative processes that are far from complications, calling on Jordanian industrial companies to explore the opportunities they provide to enhance the presence of exports in the American market and expand their product base.

He pointed out that Jordan has exported to the American market during the past two years, handicraft products, gold works, fertilizers, medicines and chemicals in a large way, while knitting accounted for 85 percent of them.
