Al-Jaghbir: We look forward to resolving the barriers to the entry of national products to the markets of "military consumption"

The president of the Chambers of Industry of Jordan and Amman, Eng. Fathi Al-Jagbir, stressed the great importance of the markets of the military consumer enterprise in the absorption of national products, because of the large numbers of branches of the institution and its spread in all provinces of the Kingdom, and the large turnout witnessed by its markets of all citizens, military and civilian, explaining that the industrial sector looks forward to more cooperation with the institution, which contributes to increasing the presence of national products in its markets.
For his part, The Head of the "Made in Jordan" campaign system, Dr. Iyad Abu Halum, praised the cooperation of the management of the Military Consumer Corporation in resolving the obstacles facing the entry of Jordanian products into the company's markets, as well as the company's keenness to attract national industrial companies to ensure the presence of their products in their markets.
During a meeting with the Director General of the Military Consumer Corporation, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Al-Hadid, in the presence of The General Manager of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Dr. Nael Al-Hasamy and Major Yazan al-Adwan, the company's procurement officer, called for the formation of a joint committee to work on resolving any problems or obstacles to the supply of national goods to the company's markets, and to provide distinctive offers on these products, which contributes to the establishment of the military consumer institution as the first destination for shopping for Jordanian citizens.
He added that he was aware of the "Made in Jordan" system of the importance of the military consumer enterprise, i was keen to have a representative of the institution in the high steering committee of the system, welcome cooperation with the military consumer organization in the field of electronic marketing of national products offered in the markets of the institution as well as the implementation of promotional campaigns in the markets of the institution in the interest of the common interest of national industries and markets of the military consumer enterprise.
For his part, Colonel Hadid stressed the keenness of the foundation to support the national industries, in light of the high quality enjoyed and its commitment to the required specifications and standards, pointing out that the national industries are very popular and their products occupy a large part of the enterprise's markets, which reach (120) markets, employing about (6) thousand employees.
Al-Hadid said the military consumer institution has begun to develop its services to citizens by issuing a card that gives military and retired military holders a special discount of up to 10% of the total invoice value, and issued a card for the employees of the General Social Security Corporation that gives its holders a discount of up to 5% of the value of their bills in the enterprise markets.
He added that the foundation is in the process of launching a home delivery service in cooperation with one of the companies specialized in this field, in order to make it easier for citizens who are now turning to online shopping to avoid congestion and save their time and effort.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding to establish the relationship between the "Made in Jordan" system and the military consumer organization in the public interest of both parties.
