Alghad - The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, stressed the importance of the package of decisions taken by the Council of Ministers with the aim of sustaining work in various economic sectors.

In the statement issued today, Engineer Al-Jaghbir praised the role of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade in supporting the continuation of the production wheel in the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the decision to grant national industries a price preference of 20 percent instead of 15 percent for assignment purposes only with regard to government bids for supplies and purchase is an additional advantage to increase the competitiveness of the national product.

He called for supporting the national product in light of the Corona pandemic, considering that the national product balances the price scale in the markets in front of the imported product.

He said that the national industry is a basic pillar in the national economy and one of the engines of economic growth.
