to ensure the continuity of opening economic sectors and activities and to avoid resorting to new closures of various sectors in light of the continuing repercussions of the Corona pandemic, the Minister of Labor and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Dr. Maan Al-Qatamin announces the details of the project "emphasis". The Minister of Labor, Maan Al-Qattamen, said that the "Confirmation" project came in coordination between the Ministry of Labor and other government agencies according to a well-thought-out plan and in partnership with the private sector, and aims to ensure that private sector establishments adhere to the implementation of work procedures protocols and preventive measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus issued by the Ministry of Labor and the relevant authorities, Pointing out that these protocols take into account the specificities of each sector.
He added that the "Emphasis" project also provides training opportunities, in partnership with the private sector, to train and qualify those wishing to work as health protection monitors.
Al-Qatamin stated that the health protection monitor is in charge of informing the facility's management in the private sector when detecting any violations of any of the safety and health prevention measures and informing the supervisor according to clear and specific mechanisms, indicating that the health protection monitor must also verify that workers and service recipients in the facility are not injured. Coronavirus through an electronic application developed for this purpose.
The Minister pointed out that the applicant for the position of a health protection observer must register and then accept and pass the training program that was prepared for this purpose and to have a certificate of practicing the profession of "occupational safety and health technician" or hold a diploma as a minimum, and to possess the ability to use smart applications.
He noted that the "Emphasis" project, which provides many job opportunities as a health protection monitor and a health protection supervisor for those who are accepted, passes the training program and fulfills the stated conditions, adding that it is a condition for the applicant for training opportunities as a health protection monitor that he is not less than 20 years old and no more than 40 years old. One year and that he has no other work or is paid a pension.
He pointed out that the "Emphasis" program also aims to train and qualify the health protection supervisor, who is in charge of supervising, monitoring, following up and communicating with health prevention monitors. He also undertakes the task of receiving and analyzing the technical reports received from the health protection monitors and then preparing and submitting these reports electronically to the control room in the Ministry the work.
Al-Qatameen explained that the applicant for the position of health protection supervisor must register, then accept and pass the training program for this purpose, and have a bachelor’s degree in one of the university specialties, except for those who have obtained a certificate of practicing the profession of "occupational safety and health specialist."
