Senate Speaker Faisal Al-Fayez said that what is required at this stage is to improve and develop the level of services provided by ministries and official institutions to citizens, in line with the developments and updates witnessed by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all fields.

During the opening of the "Lights on the Public Sector Development Plan" conference, organized by the Jordanian Administrative Leaders Association at the Amman Chamber of Industry building, on Saturday, Al-Fayez stressed the need to conduct a comprehensive development of the public administration in the public sector, by strengthening the capabilities of its workers, providing it with qualified competencies, and ensuring the commitment and discipline of workers in the public sector in line with the administrative modernization process, through the close follow-up of ministers and officials concerned.

For his part, the Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, stressed that the success of the industrial sector, in achieving the vision of economic modernization, requires the modernization of the public sector, so it is necessary to create administrative development in various corners of the state sectors to support the modernization process, and frame it with regulations and laws to continue its sustainability in the long term, in line with the royal directives aimed at placing Jordan on the map of regional and global competitiveness at all levels.

He added that the industrial sector believes that the implementation of the vision must start from simplifying procedures, improving work methodologies, securing sufficient flexibility to overcome unnecessary complexities and reducing bureaucracy, adopting the foundations of digitization and governance, supporting innovation and development, conducting a comprehensive review of all legislation, and unifying legislative, supervisory and executive references - that would provide advanced services through which time and effort are saved, and the quality of work and services increased, which will positively reflect on the performance of the various economic sectors in a way that enhances their productivity and maintains The continuity of its business, especially the industrial sector, which will be able to grab a distinguished position at the regional and global levels, and enhance its role in addressing all the difficulties suffered by the Jordanian economy.


The President of the Jordanian Administrative Leaders Association, Dr. Fayez Al-Rabie, explained that the public sector development plan is the cornerstone of reform, because the public sector is the one that manages the joints of the state, so it is necessary to differentiate between skill, knowledge, behavior, habit and motivation, which makes the human being the real capital when we put it in the right place, and that the administrative studies that were conducted to discover indicators of deviation in the management system indicate that the failure to put the right person in the right place and the absence of aggression, productive values and vision The future is the most prominent indicators of management deviation, pointing out that the recommendations that will come out of the conference will be placed in front of the decision-maker to amend what can be modified on the public sector development plan.

It is noteworthy that the conference will discuss in its first session a presentation of the public sector development plan, chaired by Dr. Jawad Al-Anani and attended by Dr. Radi Al-Atoum, and in its second session, it will discuss the reasons for the decline of administration in Jordan and ways to address them, chaired by Dr. Mohieddin Touq and spoken by Dr. Musa Shteiwi and Dr. Hamza Al-Hawamdeh, and a third session on the impact of the public sector development plan on the private sector and lectured by Dr. Yaqoub Nasser El-Din and Dr. Bassam Abu Khdeir, while the conference concludes with a session on digital and electronic transformation. It has an impact on the development of the public sector, and is chaired by MP Engineer Yazan Al-Shdeifat and spoken by Dr. Othman Ghoneim and Ms. Sakina Al-Qaaida.
