On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, Amman Chamber of Industry organized a workshop in the chamber's building. The workshop focused on "Advanced Solar Energy System Technologies and Solutions for Water Heating, Steam Generation in Factories, and Production Cost Reduction." The event was attended by several representatives from industrial companies.

Eng. Majdi Al-Hashlamoun, the Secretary-General of Amman Chamber of Industry, inaugurated the workshop. He explained that this workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the chamber. These activities aim to inform the industrial sector about technological advancements that serve the industry, particularly small and medium-sized industries, which constitute more than 90% of the total Jordanian industries. The goal is to assist these industries in reducing their operational costs, a significant portion of which is attributed to energy, especially electricity prices. This is recognized due to the crucial role these industries play in supporting the national economy and providing employment opportunities for the Jordanian workforce.
