An office for the Companies Control Department in Ma'an, Jerash and Ajloun

Alrai - The Companies Control Department has established offices in the governorates of Ma'an, Jerash and Ajloun to facilitate the provision of services to all sectors and reduce the time and effort required to complete the transactions.

The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Dr. Tariq Al-Hamouri, said in a press statement yesterday that the opening of the companies control office and the opening of these three offices would have covered its services for all geographical regions in the Kingdom so that industrialists, merchants, business owners and citizens can complete their transactions through these offices each in his province without the need to review the monitoring department Major companies in the capital, Amman.

He added that the opening of these offices came in response to the demands of the private sector, especially merchants and industrialists, which were presented during field trips undertaken by the "minister" to the governorates and his meetings with the industrial and commercial sectors in each of them.

Minister Al-Hamouri had visited a number of governorates with the participation of the head of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Aqaba Al-Ain Nael Al-Kabariti and the head of the Jordan Chamber of Industry and Amman Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir and a number of members of the boards of industrial and commercial chambers and listened to the demands and proposals of the commercial and industrial sectors in each governorate and instructed to study them and develop appropriate solutions for them as quickly as possible .

Among the demands submitted by the commercial and industrial sectors in the governorates of Ma'an, Jerash and Ajloun are the opening of an office of the Companies Control Department due to its importance in facilitating the private sector and citizens in those governorates and speeding up the completion of transactions.

Al-Hamouri said that the opening of these offices is in coordination and cooperation with the Chairman of the Ma'an Chamber of Commerce Abdullah Salah, the head of the Jerash Chamber of Commerce Muhammad Ali Dandan Al-Atoum, the President of the Ajloun Chamber of Arab Arabs al-Samadi and the heads of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He stressed that the ministry continues to work in active partnership with the chambers of industry and commerce to address the problems experienced by industrialists and merchants, as a comprehensive matrix and other special commercial and industrial sectors have been prepared in each governorate based on the demands and interventions made during these meetings.

He pointed out that many of the demands and proposals made by merchants and industrialists were dealt with, which are mostly procedural issues, while other demands are studied.

Companies General Supervisor Dr. Wael Al-Armouti said: “In the first stage, the office of the Companies Control Department will work in Jerash Governorate (working on Sunday and Monday every week) and an office in Ajloun Governorate (working on Tuesday and Wednesday every week) and an office in Ma'an Governorate (working on Monday And every Wednesday.

He added that the offices will provide many services, including registration services for solidarity and recommendation companies, limited liability companies and private joint-stock companies, except for non-profit companies, as these offices issue certificates for all types of companies and also deposit financial statements and the records of the ordinary and extraordinary general assembly, which facilitates The auditors in these regions should conduct their work without reviewing the Companies Control Department / Head Office - Amman, and it will enhance investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

By opening these three offices, the number of external offices of the Companies Control Department in the governorates increases to 12, and covers in addition to Ma'an, Ajloun and Jerash (Balqa, Zarqa, Karak, Irbid, Sahab, Mafraq, Madaba, Tafila, Aqaba Commission).

The Companies Control Department is looking forward to communicate with citizens and investors in these regions, and the department is ready to receive any suggestions or observations for the purposes of developing the work and raising the level of service provided to them.

The presidents of the Jordan Chambers of Commerce and Industry expressed their appreciation for this step, which will ease the burdens on industrialists, merchants and business owners in the three governorates to complete the transactions of their companies easily and conveniently and shorten time and effort.

The head of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Al-Ain Nael Al-Kabariti, said that the dialogue, which has become almost daily with the ministry, established a new stage to support the commercial sector, listen to its demands, the problems it suffers from, and accurately diagnose it, and link its processor to a time program within a clear and specific work matrix.

He added: «We look forward with interest to the continuation of this partnership and its institutionalization during the coming period in light of the important results that have been achieved so far, and in particular the inventory of commodities inspectors in a single supervisory authority and the standardization of inspections on economic facilities and the amendment of the law of standards and metrology».

For his part, the head of the Jordan and Amman Chamber of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir said that the opening of three offices of the Companies Control Department in Ajloun, Jerash and Maan comes at a record time after the recent visits by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply to the governorates, confirming the commitment to support the industrial and commercial sectors and facilitate procedures.

He pointed to the incentive measures that the government launched in the last third of last year, which contributed to supporting and enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector, especially reducing electricity tariffs, exempting profits from national exports, and so on.
