Alghad - Prime Minister Dr. Omar Razzaz revealed
that a third and fourth executive package for the economic program to stimulate
the national economy will be launched in the coming weeks, after it announced
yesterday the second package entitled (administrative reform).
In his speech at
the beginning of the program of work of the launch of the second package,
Al-Razzaz pointed out that the first stimulus package related to stimulating
the economy and stimulating investment resulted in an increase in the real

Al-Razzaz pointed out that this experiment was evaluated and the

second executive package of the government's economic program, the Jordan Loan
Guarantee Company will allocate 100 million dinars to banks so that families

Al-Razzaz stressed
that the government will not give up until all the problems are solved
successively to restore the sector to health and reflected positively on the
Jordanians, a sector that was preoccupying Jordanians of our youth and young
women. The Prime Minister explained that the government has found challenges
related to mobility among young people who get jobs and work, saying that a
sustainable solution is public transport and the creation of optimal means of
movement, pointing to a clear plan in this regard soon.
He pointed to the
dilemma facing young people in buying a car at reasonable costs to enable him
to get to work, and said: Therefore, we have reconsidered taxes and fees
associated with electric cars and sought to stimulate the commercial sector.
"We have a surplus of electricity produced by the Kingdom from generating
companies. Instead of storing it, we will employ it to use electric cars and to
be progressive in fees and taxes," he said. Al-Razzaz pointed out that the
tourism file is a successful success and is reflected in the employment of
young people.
He pointed out that the government measures taken are to lift
restrictions and deal with applicants to enter the Kingdom according to his
movement and movement, pointing out that it has become easy for all
nationalities to obtain (visa directly), whether electronic or from the airport
if the visitor (visa) or residence US, British or European (Schengen) or from
the Gulf States.
He pointed out that those who obtained residency in these

He stressed that all

Al-Razzaz revealed the annexation of the
Jordanian Hijazi Railway to the Ministry of Transport, the transfer of the
functions of the Provincial Development Fund to the Cities and Villages
Development Bank, the inclusion of the Meteorological Department to the
Ministry of Transport as a directorate, the termination of the work of the
Jordan Company for Tourism and Mineral Water To terminate the activities of the
Real Estate Establishment Company and to entrust the entity deemed appropriate
by the Government Investment Management Company to carry out its functions.
Also included the Water Authority and the transfer of its functions to the
Ministry of Water, and the abolition of the Securities Depository Center and
the transfer of its functions to the Securities Commission and the Amman Stock
Exchange, and the Department of Development of Endowment Funds to become a
directorate in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, and
included a number of other departments of the Ministry as affiliated directorates

President Razzaz revealed that it
was also decided to merge all the transport sector regulators into one body
(the Land Transport Regulatory Commission, the Jordanian Maritime Authority and
the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission), and to merge all the energy sector
regulators into one body (the Energy Regulatory Authority and the Atomic Energy
Commission of Jordan).

Assas
stressed that the abolition of the weight tax will reduce the financial burden
caused by the tax, in addition to that it will differentiate between the luxury
car and the car used by the general public and the poor and middle classes, so
that the burden is linked to the value of the car. The government decided to
reduce the special tax on electric cars from 25% to 10%; for cars with a
capacity of 250 kW or less, and to 15% for cars with a capacity of 251 or more”.
Al-Assas considered that electric cars for Jordan are a "strategic
choice". "We can make great strides in the electricity file and in
the fact that the cars are environmentally friendly and cost less, which is
ultimately mobile batteries," he said. Al-Assas explained that these
decisions were taken after talks with the investors of the free zones, the car
dealers association and the tax and customs departments.
He added that this
will give the wheel and a real impetus to trade in the car market, hoping that
everyone will see its impact. He stressed that all parties in the talks sought

Al-Assas pointed out that the third decision on this issue
