Alrai - The Chairman of the Amman and Jordan
Chambers of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, stressed the interest of the
Jordanian industrial sector in the Chinese market, which is considered one of
the big and important markets, which can accommodate a number of industries,
especially olive oil, Dead Sea salts, chemical industries and others.
Al-Jaghbir pointed out that the participation of the Amman Chamber of Industry
in the companies pavilion at the Chinese International Imports Fair with a
pavilion containing samples and brochures introducing a number of industries is
an opportunity to introduce visitors to these industries and promote them.
For his part, Deputy Chairman of Amman Chamber of Industry Engineer Moussa
Al-Saket stressed the importance of Jordan and our national industry
participation in China International Import Fair
Al-Saket expressed his hope that this exhibition will contribute to building
partnerships to promote Jordanian exports to China of products that can find
popularity there, especially as there is a Chinese tendency to open the door
for imports to the products of developing countries.
Al-Saket said that the trade balance tends to be in favor of China, where
Jordan's exports to China last year amounted to about 104.8 million dollars
against imports from China amounted to about 2.77 billion dollars.
Saket pointed out that the China International
Import Fair is an important opportunity for Jordan to expand the volume of its
exports to China, as China will import 10 trillion US dollars worth of goods
and services during the next five years, adding that Jordan has been placed
among (15) other countries as guests. Honor, a free pavilion was awarded in
this exhibition.
