counterpart a proposal to sign an agreement for mutual recognition of
certificates of conformity with standards and technical regulations in order to
further facilitate the flow of goods between the two countries, according to an
informed government source”.
The source told "Tomorrow" that

meetings of the Jordanian-Iraqi Joint Committee in its session of (28), which
concluded its work last Thursday in Amman.".

exports, especially as the national industry is able to meet the needs of this
market because of the high quality enjoyed, stressing that the industrial
sector views Iraq as an important trade partner in order to achieve common
interests and benefits for both sides and reach economic integration.
It is
noteworthy that the Jordanian-Iraqi Joint Committee discussed several files,
including the request of the Jordanian side to allocate a quota for Jordanian
products to be excluded from Iraqi protection fees, and promised the Iraqi side
to study the request and respond to it as soon as possible.
It was agreed to
