Al Hammouri Sponsors the Launch of the “Amraland” Brand

Alrai - The Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr. Tariq Al-Hammouri, representing the Prime Minister, on Monday launched the private brand "amraland", a project for the production, sale and export of national products.

The project was established in partnership between Jordan Duty Free Co. and Alia Al Nabali for Specialized Industries, Al Tayebat Dates, and the Gift of Dead Sea Salts.

Hamouri said in a speech during the launch, that such a project contributes to the building of the national economy and enhances its competitiveness, especially as it is directed not only to domestic markets but to export and openness to foreign markets, considering that the move towards such investment stimulating business and entrepreneurship and innovation and enhance production opportunities, and therefore Contribute to the operation.

He added that Jordan, despite its small size but large cards and resources, and achievements, noting that there are many successful projects at the national level, which was a joint effort between the public and private sectors.

For his part, the Minister of Labor Nidal Batayneh, for the service of the country, which is a key pillar of government programs in employment, especially as it provides an opportunity for job seekers suitable for those who have completed his school or university education, explaining that the trainees will be distributed to groups and will enroll in professional programs for those who finished Secondary school and below and technical programs for those who have completed the intermediate diploma or the first university degree.

He said the program aims to train 6,000 trainees in the second batch, and started electronic registration for the second batch and will begin training next month.

The CEO of Duty Free Eng. Haitham Al-Majali, in the presence of Chairman of the Board Eng. Ali Al-Ghazzawi, said that today we are betting on the company's reputation and prestige, which will enable the export of the project products in addition to marketing through the free zones. He said that what distinguishes Jordanian industries in general, is their conformity with international specifications, which makes them competitive.

In a related context, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the students of the free markets company, who have a training diploma at the Faculty of Ammon Hotel, which works to qualify the drum technically and professionally.

The dean of the college, Dr. Mohsen Makhamra, said that the college started implementing the program in early 2018 and continued until the end of the same year, pointing out that it included the development of administrative, linguistic, marketing, financial, behavioral and technical skills equivalent to 365 training hours.

On the sidelines of the celebration, three partnership agreements were signed between the Free Zones and the Amraland institutions.
