Alrai - The representative of the food industry sector at the Jordan Chamber of Industry Mohammed Al-Jitan said that the Chamber participates in the 2019 Anuga exhibition, which will be held in Cologne, Germany during the period 5-9 of this month and with the participation of 16 Jordanian food companies specialized in the production of canned food, beverages, bread products, oriental sweets and herbs tahini products. And nuts and others.

In a press release issued yesterday, Al-Jitan pointed out that Anuga is one of the international exhibitions specialized in the food industry of all kinds, such as frozen meat, dairy products, bakery products, drinks and organic foods. He pointed out that the number of companies participating in this exhibition for 2019 is estimated at 7590 companies from 109 countries. All over the world with a total area of 280 thousand square meters is expected to be the number of visitors about 165 thousand visitors.

He pointed out that participation in such international exhibitions constitutes a qualitative leap for the Jordanian food industry from traditional foods to functional foods, quality foods and vegetarian foods through the latest technical methods in the world of non-traditional food industry which are the focus of attention of consumers in most countries of the world.

He added that the chamber has adopted since its new board the policy of promoting Jordanian industrial products from several axes, the most important of which are the commercial missions of the chamber and active participation in local, regional and international exhibitions with the aim of opening new markets for Jordanian products in addition to strengthening the existing export markets, after the traditional markets stalled for Jordanian industrial products.
