Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tariq Al-Hammouri and Palestinian
Minister of National Economy Khaled Al-Assaily opened the fifth exhibition of
Jordanian products and industries organized by the Amman Chamber of Industry in
the northern West Bank town of Jenin, with the participation of Jenin Governor
Akram Rajoub and representatives of the Palestinian and Jordanian public and

are looking forward to increasing the volume of trade with Palestine.

Al-Hammouri
pointed out the results of the meeting of the Joint Higher Committee which took
place on July 7 in Amman on the signing of several memoranda requiring mutual
recognition of specifications and standards and cooperation with the Jordanian
Food and Drug Authority.

part, Al-Osaily said during the opening of the exhibition on behalf of the

Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to one billion dollars and with all the Arab
countries through Jordan the eastern gateway to our Arab depth.
Al-Osaily
pointed to the agreement on the establishment of a joint company to manage the
Jordanian-Palestinian Free Trade Zone, which will manage the logistics area and
provide the required services to facilitate the import and export movement and
the expected positive impact and its contribution to improving the level of
trade.
Which will facilitate trade and overcome the
obstacles we face in view of the arbitrary and discriminatory policies imposed
by the Israeli occupation and their effects are reflected on the volume of
intra-trade and the consequent increase in cost and time and reduce
competitiveness”.

by reflecting our integration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and our Arab

investment in Palestine concentrated in the financial intermediation, And
foreign investments from Jordan accounted for 81.3 percent of these data.
