Amman Chamber of Industry's exports increased by 38 percent during the first month of 2023, compared to the same period last year.

According to statistical data obtained by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), exports of Amman's industry rose during January of this year to 665 million dinars, compared to 483 million dinars for the same period last year.

The exports of all ten industrial sectors recorded growth during the last month of this year, with the exception of the construction industries sector, whose exports recorded a decline of 14 percent.

Last month, India, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Iraq accounted for more than half of the exports of the Oman Chamber of Industry last month of this year, recording a value of 368 million dinars.

According to the geographical distribution of the Chamber's exports during the last month of this year, Arab countries came in the lead with 234 million dinars, non-Arab Asian countries 279 million dinars, and African countries about 6 million dinars.
