Ammon ــــ The head of the Amman and Jordan Chambers of Industry, Eng.
Fathi Al-Jaghibir, stressed the importance of industrial body unity in light of
the many challenges facing this sector. He called on the government to take
appropriate administrative measures to protect national industries on the basis
of reciprocity. The Egyptian minister stressed the need to provide the Chamber
with any problems faced by industrialists in any export market, to be followed
up in coordination with official and governmental bodies.
Al-Ghaibir said during a meeting of the General Authority of
the Chamber of Industry in Amman that the chamber's board has followed the
obstacles facing Jordanian exports to a number of major markets and promising
markets, including the Egyptian, Iraqi, Palestinian, African, American,
Singaporean markets. , Chinese and German, where the files of these markets
were distributed to the members of the Board of Directors of the chambers of
industry Jordan and Oman.
He explained that the chamber, through its follow-up to the
files of these markets, will explore the export opportunities in these markets,
in addition to identifying the Jordanian goods that can be found in it, as well
as studying the laws and legislation governing the trade of these countries.
Abdul Hakim Zaza, member of the Board of Directors of Jordan
Chamber of Industry, responsible for the Iraqi file in the Council, reviewed
the most important developments related to exports to Iraq. He pointed out that
until now, the decision on the shipping process between the two countries has

Dr. Eyad Abuhltam, member of the Board of Directors of the
Amman Chamber of Industry, explained that the frequent fire accidents witnessed

system in the industrial sector. He called for finding a mechanism for
financing public safety systems and updating them in factories at constant

Dr. Nael al-Husami, director general of the Amman Chamber of
Industry, said that the strong relations between Germany and Jordan should be
reflected positively on economic relations between them. He said that the
German-Arab Chamber of Commerce had agreed on a number of measures to improve
