The Jordanian Association of Exporters and Producers of Jordan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordanian Engineers Association on a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation between the Association and Jordanian Engineers Syndicate in a number of fields to achieve maximum benefit for both the engineering offices under the union and the industrial companies working in the sector of furniture and wood industries. Common. 

The two sides agreed on a number of areas of joint cooperation, the most important of which is that the syndicate should circulate to its various engineering offices to use the Jordanian specification in tenders, especially in the fields of design. The union should also seek to give priority to the purchase of national and local products. Of the local companies and in the meeting and implementation of tenders associated with the work of projects, in addition to finding a kind of interdependence and interrelated between the engineering offices and industrial companies working in the sector of furniture and wood industries and coordination to arrange visits Mal for engineering offices to companies factories members of the association in order to identify the potential and capabilities of industrial companies in addition to the participation of companies members of the association in exhibitions and conferences held by the union and the holding of joint workshops between the parties to introduce local companies and their potential. 

The two sides also agreed that the industrial companies provide a discount for the union and engineering offices on the prices of products manufactured by local companies in the projects and tenders that require furnishing national products as well as training engineers in industrial companies. 

The two sides agreed that the work plan for implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding will be elaborated during the period of operation of this Memorandum, two years from the date of its signing by the President of the Association Samer Katabi and the Jordanian Engineers' Captain Ahmed Samara Al Zu'bi, in the presence of the Vice President of the Association Mohammed Al Barghouthi Board of Directors and Executive Director of the Assembly Ali Khreino and Secretary General of the Engineers Association Mohammad Abu Afifah.
