A member of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of
Industry confirmed that the establishment of a "positive" institute
in 2004 was aimed at building human capacities operating in the industrial
sector, pointing out that the institute is the only training arm at the
national level Arab Industrial Sector.
Al Khudari added that the
Chamber provided its employees with opportunities to benefit from a wide range
of services, programs and advisory and technical support in order to enhance
the competitiveness and development of the national industry by developing
performance to cope with the rapidly changing business environment. Al-Watania,
through a unique package of quality and distinctive training solutions,
explaining that the Institute has been registered as a non-profit company to
accelerate the development of its training capabilities and services.
Al-Khudari pointed out that the
Institute has over the past years trained more than 20 thousand trainees
belonging to various economic sectors and exceeded the province of the capital
to reach training programs for the various provinces of the Kingdom in order to
distribute the gains on everyone, in addition to that exceeded the local scope
to include a number of Arab countries, The Chamber opened its doors to the
brothers in Palestine, in recognition of the distinguished special relationship
between the two peoples and in recognition of the difficult conditions that the
brothers are suffering there.
Al-Khudari explained that the
Institute has held many partnership agreements with international and local
universities, including American Missouri, British Derm, Cambridge College,
British German and Jordanian, aiming to launch training programs that enrich
the capabilities of industrial workers.
He pointed out that the
Institute's vision is based on the need to monitor the rapid development of
technology and the information revolution that is currently taking place in the
world by developing its training programs to become electronic in line with the
Fourth Industrial Revolution and the most prominent international practices in
the field of training.
Al-Khudari called on ministries
and institutions in the public and private sectors to benefit from the services
of the Institute, noting that last year the IBDL program was approved by the
American University of Missouri, in addition to organizing more than one course
for the supervisor of safety and health 65 supervisors have graduated so far,and the courses are continuing in this field. Some of them have been organized
in the places of the industrialists from Sahab to East Amman and Bayader Wadi
Al-Seer. The Institute has also cooperated with the Spark program. 137
