This assessment was made for Potash after four measures were taken: sales, profits, assets and market value of the company, making it one of the 100 most powerful companies in the Middle East.

Potash sales rose to an all-time high in 2018, reaching 2.44 million tons compared to 2.36 million tonnes in 2017, the magazine said.

The company achieved a net profit of 126 million dinars after deducting taxes, provisions and mining fees in 2018. The growth rate was 39 percent higher than 2017, and the company distributed 100 million dinars in cash profits to its shareholders.

The production volume of 2,436 million tons in 2018 represented a record level in the company's history, and the quantities of production and marketing efforts reflected directly on the profitability of the company.

The company maintained its position as one of the most important tributaries of the treasury in 2018 by up to 57% of the net profits of the company and a total amount of 71 million dinars.

The company is preparing to enter a new stage of expansion and development to maintain its competitiveness in the field of production and marketing of potash and in the field of specialty fertilizers.
