The head of the Irbid Chamber of Industry, Hani Abu Hassan, stressed the importance of the achievements of the industrial sector during the past 20 years and since the arrival of His Majesty King Abdullah II on the throne. 

Abu Hassan said that the role of His Majesty King Abdullah II was instrumental in supporting and developing national industries through the wisdom and leadership of His Majesty, which attracted many foreign investments of the Kingdom. 

And His Majesty's permanent emphasis on economic and investment benefits. 

He pointed to the importance of economic forums and conferences held in the Kingdom under the guidance and patronage of His Majesty the King, which is an important forum for economy and investment. 

Abu Hassan pointed to the developments witnessed by the national industry both in terms of modernizing the production processes and the ability to create jobs for the citizens of the country until the industrial sector and its products that reach various countries of the world are the main pillars of the national economy. 

He pointed out that the industrial sector in the province of Irbid has witnessed developments that have resulted in a doubling of the annual volume of industrial exports, which increased during the last year from 816 million dollars. 

Abu Hassan stressed that these achievements coincided with the royal vision in efforts to improve the standard of living of the citizens, despite the challenges and regional conditions witnessed by the region and Jordan managed with his wise Hashemite leadership to overcome them ably.
