Vice President of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Eng. Musa
Al-Saket, said that the Made in Jordan campaign will seek to enhance innovation
and innovation in order to contribute to the development of the national
industry.
"The development of creativity and innovation among
young people is becoming increasingly important at the moment," said
Al-Saket, who signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Moue) between the Wassal
Awareness and Education Foundation and the Made in Jordan campaign at the Amman
Chamber of Industry yesterday. Challenges facing national industries in the
local market and export markets by encouraging Jordanian industrialists to find
innovative solutions to develop their products through innovation.
Al-Saket welcomed the cooperation with the Wassel Foundation
for awareness raising and education in the implementation of joint projects and
activities that will contribute to building Jordanian youth's capacities and
increasing their opportunities in the community. These activities will include
workshops and seminars for Jordanian youth to give them more opportunities to
develop and become more involved in the process of making the decision, in
addition to directing the youth beneficiaries of these programs to the centres
of business incubators to help them develop their business.
The memorandum of
cooperation also included a review of the success stories of the
industrialists, urging them to follow them, as well as providing information on
the investment map in the different governorates of the Kingdom, how to obtain
and pay loans and mechanisms to start establishing businesses.
WELC is a non-profit organization that promotes the concept of
a unified Jordanian identity and provides a platform for young people from all
over the Kingdom to engage with each other through workshops organized by the
Foundation to raise awareness and empower young people socially and
economically to work together towards a single Jordanian identity. Which gives
young people a holistic view that is not limited to their geographical areas.
