Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum
inaugurated the Jordan Industries Exhibition (MADE) in Jordan yesterday,
organized by the Irbid Chamber of Industry in Al Hassan Sports City, in the
framework of Ramadan Al-Khair program, which runs on Thursdays and Fridays
throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Atoum stressed the importance of the initiative in the establishment of the
exhibition, which serves the marketing and promotion of the national industry,
which is one of the most important tributaries and pillars of the national
economy.
Al-Atoum said that the promotion and support of the local product has a
positive impact on the growth of these industries and their contribution to the
operation of labor and in line with the visions and directions of His Majesty
King Abdullah II in supporting and attracting investments.
For his part, President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Abu Hassan said
that the exhibitions are the beginning of economic growth to stimulate and
activate in terms of the definition of consumers with national innovations and
products, which facilitates the marketing process. He pointed out that
Jordanian industries export to more than 150 countries in the world and the
industrial sector employs 250,000 workers 20% of the workforce.
He pointed to the need to support the local industry through the demand and
purchase through changing the pattern of consumption and confidence in the
quality of the local product.
The exhibition, which runs on Thursday and Friday from every week until the end
of the holy month of Ramadan, offers the opportunity to sell directly to
consumers at preferential prices.
