The Kingdom's ambassador to Canada, Rima Aladdin, opened the
Jordanian pavilion at the Sial Exhibition in Toronto, organized by the Jordan
Exporters Association with the support of the Jordan Program of
Competitiveness, funded by the US Agency for International Development.
Ambassador Aladdin praised the efforts exerted by Jordan Exporters Association
to enhance trade exchange between Jordan and Canada and provide opportunities
to enter the national products of the Canadian market, expressing its
admiration for the advanced level and high quality achieved by the Jordanian
industry and its ability to compete in the important Canadian market.
Ambassador Aladdin said that Jordan is a key partner of Canada, and the two
countries have a long history of friendship and friendship. They are seeking to
spread and consolidate the values of compassion, tolerance, mutual respect,
justice and adherence to human rights.
The FTA, which is part of 10 companies specializing in the food and packaging
industries, noted that the free trade agreement between the two countries is
the only agreement concluded by Canada with the countries of the region and
provides the opportunity for Canadian business owners to reach Jordanian
markets and attract traders.
The chairman of the association, Eng. Omar Abu Shasha, noted that the various
activities to promote Jordanian exports organized by the association in the
foreign markets have contributed significantly to the success stories
especially in the markets of Canada, the United States and Dubai.
He added that the association will continue to help Jordanian companies from
various industrial sectors to help them achieve success in the export markets.
He appreciated the support of Jordanian companies from the Jordan Investment
Promotion Authority and the Jordanian Competitiveness Program funded by the US
Agency for International Development.
