Minister of Labour Inaugurates A Production Branch in Jerash and A Factory in The Northern Jordan Valley

On behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al Razzaz, Minister of Labor Samir Murad inaugurated the new production branch of the Nab El Fil clothing company, which will provide 400 jobs for the region's children in Suf city in Jerash governorate. 

Mourad, the new production branch of the traditional fashion company for the garment industry, opened in the village of Al-Zamaliyah in the northern Jordan Valley, which will provide about 700 jobs for the people of the region and the governorate of Irbid in general. 

In Jerash, Murad said that as we celebrate today on the occasion of the International Labor Day, we remind the Hashemite leadership of their constant support to the Jordanian worker who has always been valued and trusted by His Majesty the King in all his speeches and messages addressed to Jordan's workers. 

Murad said that in the footsteps of His Majesty the King, the government has taken a path to achieve the gains of the workers and harnessed its potential to provide a model work environment seeking to include them in social protection. 

Murad explained that the government has taken a package of measures to reduce unemployment, which is a high priority in the economic stimulus plan of the government. The Ministry of Labor continued to expand the establishment of productive branches in accordance with Royal directives to transfer investments to remote and remote areas. 

For his part, the head of the Greater Jerash Municipality, Dr. Ali Qogzah said that the establishment of the Nabeel elephant plant reflects the royal approach to improve the lives of citizens and provide them with suitable jobs, stressing the importance of investments in remote areas and pockets of poverty because of the job opportunities that contribute to reducing the problems of poverty and unemployment. 

For his part, the investor in the plant of the elephant that the plant provides hundreds of jobs, and commended the facilities provided by the government to stimulate investment and the establishment of investment projects from local communities. 

One of the workers at the factory, Sana al-Borini, gave a speech in which she presented her experience through the job search journey until she found her chance at this factory close to her place of residence, providing the workers with the time, effort and money to thank the King and the government for taking care of remote areas and governorates. 

The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of Jerash Mamoun Al-Luzi and a number of officials and interested parties. 

In the northern Jordan Valley, Murad said during the opening ceremony, in the presence of Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoum, that during the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, the labor and labor sector received all forms of support and support. His Majesty's appreciation and trust in all his speeches and messages addressed to the workers of Jordan on various occasions. 

He stressed that royal calls always focus on improving the living conditions of workers, providing advanced training programs through the Vocational Training Corporation, the National Company for Employment and Training, and providing social protection for workers. 

He pointed out that his Majesty's interest included directing the government to prepare national programs that examine Jordan's needs and provide many job opportunities that are compatible with the labor market, arm the Jordanian worker in modern practical language, and acquire skills and qualitative elements adapted to modern technological developments. 

He explained that the opening of this productive branch was part of the celebrations of the Kingdom on Labor Day, stressing the government's interest in the workers of the homeland wherever they were to enjoy a decent life, and continue to build the path of good and achievement. 

For his part, the governor of the northern Jordan Valley, Rakan al-Qadi, stressed the importance of this project, which was a partnership between foreign investment and the Ministry of Labor, hoping that the establishment of this plant is a good start to open other factories in the region and provide job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the region and contribute to alleviating poverty and unemployment. 

Khalid Abu Zaid, general manager of the fashion company said that the company's investment in the Kingdom dates back to 18 years when it started a garment project in Al Hassan Industrial City. He thanked all those who contributed to the establishment of this project, which will contribute to the economic development of the region and the creation of job opportunities. 

It is noteworthy that 23 branches were established to operate 6423 workers and workers in the number of targeted workers is 8110 workers and workers, and there are 8 branches under construction aimed at operating 2980 workers and workers, according to the Ministry of Labor, including (6) branches have been completed construction and processing sites, Operating approximately 1600 jobs will be operational during the current year. 

There are also 12 branches under operation aimed at operating 2700, while 13 branches are being set up to operate 3900 after coordination with investors wishing to invest. Bringing the total number of branches to 56 branches to operate about 17050 workers and workers.
