The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of
Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbair, stressed that Jordan is an example of
cooperation and complementarity of the relations and efforts of the three
parties in the work force with the employers and the concerned government
agencies, in appreciation of the efforts of all workers in the industrial
sector.
Al-Jaghbair said in a press statement issued on the occasion of International
Workers' Day that the industrial sector, which employs more than 240,000
workers and employs about one million people and makes up 22% of the total labour
force in the Kingdom, is keen to create more jobs for the people of this
country. Thus contributing to solving the problems of unemployment and poverty
in Jordan.
Al-Jaghbair said that Jordan's workers are the ones who build achievements and
contribute to the prosperity and progress of the country, and that their
efforts are beneficial to the national economy and the people of the homeland,
which contributes to the strengthening of the state of production and
self-reliance, and we always strive to be the rights and privileges of workers
in the greatest forms, Enabling them to make more.
Al-Jaghbair pointed out that the social and structural reform program sponsored
by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein is a clear example of interest
in training issues and improving productivity. Its main focus is the
development and development of human resources, both in terms of education and
modernization and the introduction of techniques in the teaching stages, And
workers.
On the occasion of Labour Day, and to meet the challenges of globalization and
competition, which depends primarily on the productivity of the worker,
Al-Jaghbair called for the study of all aspects related to productivity and the
requirements for increasing it through cooperation between the Ministry of
Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Labour from the government sector and
