An official source expected the
government to extend the decision to exempt fines for taxpayers who have tax
credits and fines and allow their payment.
The source said in a statement to
"opinion" that the decision of the exemption that ended yesterday is
likely to be extended by the Council of Ministers after the income and income
tax department witnessed a heavy congestion on the last day of the period
allowed by the taxpayers who did not submit tax returns for previous years and
those who attended To take advantage of the decision to exempt the fines to pay
the balances incurred or deducted from the taxes of customs or customs duties
or financial claims to the Directorate of Public Funds in the Ministry of
Finance.
The source also pointed out that the
impending decision of the extension comes after the demands of representatives
of the private sector to give the taxpayers more time to benefit from the
exemption decision.
The Income and Sales Tax Department
earlier called taxpayers who had tax credits or fines levied on them to take
the initiative to take advantage of the cabinet decision under which the
exemption from fines was extended until the end of April.
The Chamber explained that the
extension decision was made with the aim of making it easier for those who were
unable to pay their outstanding balances during the previous extension periods.
