A Jordanian delegation headed
by Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Tarik Al-Hammouri in Baghdad on Sunday
discussed ways to develop and activate the joint relations and raise the value
of trade exchange between the two countries, according to a statement issued by
the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce.
The two sides discussed the
bilateral relations between the two countries in a way that serves the
interests of the two brotherly peoples, especially in the field of promoting
joint trade and activating cooperation in various sectors, including economic
and investment.
The meeting, which was held at
the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, was attended by Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq
Montasser Al Zu'bi, Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Industry Fathi Al-Jaghbir
and an official delegation.
The meeting was also attended
by the deputies of the Chamber of Deputies, the Vice-Presidents of the Chamber,
Sheikh Zinni and Raad Kadhim Al-Maliki, members of the Board of Directors Alaa
Al-Nouri, Abdullah Al-Jibouri, Firas Rasul, Haidar Al-Dahlaki, Mohammed Zaboun
and Yasser Yahia. It is business.
The President of the Baghdad
Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Jaafar Al-Hamdani, praised the Jordanian Hashemite
Kingdom's support and support to Iraq in the face of the existing challenges
and stressed the participation of Jordanian companies in trade fairs held in
Iraq and activating mutual visits between traders in all sectors to achieve the
vision of the two governments in this field.
