The
Jordanian Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) has started receiving
requests to benefit from the program "Accelerate the Growth of Economic
Projects" funded by the Jordanian government, and ends on the ninth of
next month.
The program aims to support
and sustain small and medium enterprises in the industrial and service sectors,
with high growth opportunities to increase productivity, competitiveness and
increase exports through training courses, technical guidance and networking
with other donors.
"The business environment
in Jordan faces a number of challenges that hinder the competitiveness of the
private sector, including legislative, regulatory and administrative
challenges, lack of competitiveness in international markets, weak entrepreneurial
culture, lack of leadership skills, , And leadership.
Al Muhairat said that the
program is ambitious, integrated and specialized in accelerating the
development and growth of enterprises and small and medium enterprises and
accelerating their exports to suit the local business environment. It includes
technical services that enable companies to identify obstacles to their growth
in the local market and foreign markets, To overcome these constraints, as the
objectives of the program coincided with the objectives and pillars of the
national strategy for entrepreneurship and the growth of small and medium
enterprises.
He pointed out that the
Foundation will provide a team of specialists to diagnose the status of the
company and analyze the readiness of export and identify the most important
obstacles to the rapid growth in the local market and foreign markets and work
on the development of business plans to help the company to overcome these
obstacles and achieve high growth rates and sustainable.
The program helps companies
identify appropriate external markets and trends in consumption patterns in
target markets, assist them in selecting products that fit those markets, help
them develop new products, reach potential buyers in target markets, especially
in the US market, communicate effectively with them, manage contracts and
organize bilateral meetings.
