Awareness Workshop on the Jordanian Industry and its Importance to Teachers and Mentors of the Ain Al-Basha

The support of the national industry contributes to translating the visions of His Majesty King Abdullah II into self-reliance and combating the phenomena of poverty and unemployment, said Musa Al-Saket, vice chairman of the Amman Chamber of Industry, chairman of the committee overseeing the Made in Jordan campaign.

Al-Saket explained that the national industry contributes to supporting the economic economy and providing more job opportunities for the people of this country, despite all the challenges and obstacles that face them in the local market and export markets, stressing the importance of the role that can To be done by teachers and employees in the Ministry of Education to enhance the confidence of students in the national industry and increase the appetite to purchase, especially as the Ministry of Education is the largest in terms of the number of workers and students, more than one million students.

During the workshop, Al-Saket reviewed the axes of a campaign made in Jordan launched by the Amman Chamber of Industry and the Jordanian Foundation for the Development of Economic Projects and turned into a national campaign involving several ministries and official bodies as well as all industrial chambers. These included promotion, media, field visits, meetings and workshops, In order to facilitate the recognition of Jordanian products and distinguish them from other goods in the markets, in addition to the state of production, a new axis launched this year.

As for the role of the campaign in the promotion of local industries, Al-Saket said that a website has been launched to market these products electronically, including the mechanisms of communication with its producers, in addition to the campaign page on Facebook, which publishes national industry profiles with identifying information,

Radio and television spots, and the distribution of various publications and brochures, in addition to the organization of industrial exhibitions in a number of governorates under the name "Made in Jordan".

The meeting witnessed the success stories of industrialists presented by Duha Abulraghb from Miran Chocolate Factory and Saeb Taaima from the Jordan Bicycle Factory, as well as a detailed presentation of figures on the national industry presented by Mohammed Al Khalayleh from Jordan Chamber of Industry.
