The Chairman of the Committee on Economy in the Iraqi
Parliament, MP Hassan Kanani, said that the Jordanian industry has advanced so
much that it has become competitive industries in the countries of the region,
given the use of modern technology significantly.
The Kuwaiti MP expressed his admiration for the Jordanian
industry during his visit with a number of Iraqi MPs to the industrial city of
Qastal, where he was received by the Chairman of the Chambers of Industry of
Jordan and Amman Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir and member of Amman Chamber of Industry
Saad Yassin and in the presence of the Jordanian MPs: Sulaiman Al-Zaben and
Zaid Al-Shawabkeh.
Al-Kanani called on concerned parties in Jordan to further
promote the Jordanian product for its high quality and high competitiveness. He
also expressed his appreciation for the progress made in Jordanian industry
after his visit to the international pharmaceutical factories, Atta Rabah and
Jordan-Jordan Industrial Development Company (Jordina) Bacladrine.
The Iraqi parliamentarians who visited the factories of the
industrial city of Qastal gathered on the great development in Jordanian
industry, stressing that the Iraqi market needs industries of great quality,
such as those produced by Jordanian factories.
For their part, Jordanian MPs present at the visit expressed
their readiness to amend and approve legislation that contributes to the
development of the Jordanian industry, as well as to discuss increasing the
Jordanian exports to Iraq during the official visits between the two sides.
In turn, Engineer Al-Jaghbir expressed his great pride and
pride in visiting the Iraqi Parliament's Economic Committee for the industrial
city of Qastal, stressing that the national industry is the pride of Jordanian
production.
Al-Jaghbir said that Jordanian industries are in line with
the latest technologies in the world, while the Jordanian product has reached
many Arab and regional markets and even in the European Union.
For their part, the chairman of the Association of investors
of Qastal and Mushta industrial Mahmoud Khedr, that the exports of the society
recorded 1.2 billion dinars, while the volume of investment amounted to 1.5
billion dinars.
Khadr said during his meeting with the delegation in the
presence of the secretary of the association Ismail Zahran that the city of
Qastal industrial plays an economic and developmental role, especially in
raising the pace of national exports and increasing the volume of total
investment and its high operational capacity represented by employing more than
35,000 Jordanians.
Khadr said that industrialists continue to improve the
quality of their products to rise to the highest levels in industries in a way
that serves the Jordanian product, so that it can reach the largest number of
markets in the world.
For his part, Zahran addressed the most important challenges
facing industrialists and investors in exporting to the Iraqi market.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the
Amman Chamber of Industry Dr. Nael Al-Husami and a number of officials of the
Chamber and the Qastal Industrial Society.
