Alrai - The Independent Election Commission announced at dawn on Sunday the
final results of the elections for the chambers of industry and representatives
of the industrial sectors for the year 2022.
The authority published the detailed results on its website after they were
audited, reviewed and officially approved by the Commission's Board of
Commissioners, according to the Chambers of Industry system.
According to the authority, the Amman Chamber of Industry’s board of directors
was won by: Fathi Al-Jaghbir, Tamim Al-Qasrawi, Dima Sukhtian, Iyad Abu Haltam,
Musa Al-Saket, Ahmed Al-Khodari, Saad Yassin, Majdi Al-Hashlamoun, Ahed
Al-Rajabi.
The members of the Irbid Chamber of Industry Board of Directors were: Hani
Al-Abdullah, Amin Al-Ramahi, Muhammad Owais, Nidal Hassi, Khaled Kharashkeh,
Hussein Al-Draiseh, Jibril Qaraqa, Mamoun Al-Khidr, Hani Shatnawi.
As for the Board of Directors of the Zarqa Chamber of Industry, its membership
was won by: Fares Hammouda, Hussein Hawatmeh, Bassam Al-Kilani, Amer Al-Damour,
Wissam Sidr, Ali Hassan, Haider Al-Amayreh, Amjad Al-Basha and Dina Khayat.
As for the seats for representatives of the industrial sectors, the results
were as follows: the mining industries sector, Abdel Wahab Al-Rawad, the
therapeutic industries and medical supplies Fadi Al-Atrash, the construction
industries Alaa Abu Sofa, the chemical and cosmetics industries Ahmed Al-Bas,
the packaging industry, paper, cardboard and office supplies, Muhammad Issa,
industries Engineering, electrical and information technology Muhammad Al-Hajj
Hassan, the supply, food, agricultural and livestock industries, Muhammad
Al-Jitan, the plastic and rubber industries, Alaa Abu Khazna, the leather and
knitting industries: Ihab Qadri, the wood and furniture industries, Taher
Abdel-Qader Khaled.
The authority announced the closing of the ballot boxes for the 2022 elections
for the boards of directors of the chambers of industry and representatives of
the industrial sectors in each of the Amman, Zarqa and Irbid chambers of
industry at 7:00 pm without an extension.
The authority indicated that the total number of voters in the three chambers
of industry in Amman, Zarqa and Irbid reached (1330), with a rate of (88.43%),
and that the number of male and female voters in the Amman Chamber of Industry
reached (1014), out of (1169) male and female voters. In the Zarqa Chamber of
Industry, the number of voters was 192 out of (207) male and female voters, and
in the Irbid Chamber of Industry (124) out of 128 male and female voters.
The commission confirmed that the vote counting process began as soon as the
polling process was completed and the boxes were closed in the same polling
centers in the presence of the supervisory committees, candidate
representatives, observers, journalists and media professionals.
