Amman Chamber of Industry welcomed the latest version of the
amended system of buildings and organization in the city of Amman, especially
regarding the amendment to Article (27) of the original system relating to the
number of permitted positions, which were lifted from the position of every 100
m 2 to stand for every 300 m 2.
The meeting was welcomed by a member of its board of
directors and a member of the Amman Municipality Council, Saad Yassin,
describing the efforts made by various parties to reach a consensus formula at
the latest, especially as the subject has financial dimensions and costs that
negatively affect the investment decision.
Yassin stressed that the point of dialogue started from the
need to take into account the privacy of the industry when the total area to
determine the number of positions, the total area of the factories may be large
but cannot be considered as the basis for determining the number of cars to the
planters, as most workers in the factories do not come to the factory cars, Use
transportation provided by these factories as well as factories do not receive
customers directly from consumers, but in the shops that offer their products.
Yassin pointed out that the Amman Chamber of Industry had
made a number of observations regarding the need to define clearly the
industrial areas that are regulated (light, medium, heavy, technical, etc.), in
addition to the issue of rebounds, which occupy a large proportion of the total
land area and impose financial burdens Resulting from the purchase of land with
more areas than required.
