The Amman Chamber of Industry sponsored the
launch of the "I am proud of your industry" initiative to support the
success of the Jordan Made in Jordan campaign aimed at creating a generation
that is aware of the importance of the industry and enhancing confidence in the
national industry.
Deputy Chairman of the Amman
Chamber of Industry and the Chairman of the committee overseeing the campaign
(Made in Jordan) Engineer Musa Al-Saket, said that the national industry today
needs the continuous support from various quarters as one of the strategic
sectors of the Jordanian economy.
Eng. Al-Saket stressed at the
launch ceremony of the "I pride your industry" initiative at the
Directorate of Education, Ain Al-Basha, that national responsibility requires
work to give priority to local products and industries and raise awareness of
the importance of purchasing the national product.
He pointed out that the
initiative reflects awareness and awareness of the importance of industry in
supporting the national economy and is one of the fruits of the memorandum of
cooperation signed between the Made in Jordan campaign and the Ministry of
Education.
He expressed the hope that the
"I am proud of your industry" initiative will succeed in supporting
the efforts of the Jordan-made campaign, especially as the Ministry of
Education is the largest in terms of the number of employees and students, who
number more than one million students.
Al-Saket reviewed the axes of
the "Made in Jordan" campaign launched by the Amman Chamber of
Industry in cooperation with the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation and
turned into a national campaign involving many ministries and official bodies
in addition to the industrial chambers in the Kingdom.
Al-Saket announced that a
competition for the best national industry report will be launched for the
students of Ain Al-Basha Education Schools, pointing out that the Made in
Jordan campaign aims to translate the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II
into the production country through self-reliance which contributes to economic
growth and opportunities. Work for Jordanians.
He stressed that giving the
national industry a priority when buying will enable it to contribute to
reducing unemployment rates and leading the national economy towards growth and
renaissance.
