The Abu Dhabi International Exhibition for Exhibitions and Exhibitions
(IPCO) recently announced that the exhibition has achieved good and fruitful
results for the majority of participating companies.
The company's director Raed
Abu Saada said that many of the participating companies signed contracts for
the export of Jordanian goods and products to the Qatari market, while other
companies are waiting for a response from their Qatari counterpart to sign
contracts and commercial agencies.
He said during a press
conference on Wednesday: The industrial sectors that participated in the
exhibition are food, plastic, chemical and wood, packaging, stone and marble,
expected to reflect these partnerships on the two trade exchanges of the
current year.
Abu Sada said that the
exhibition, organized for the time and organized by APCO and supported by the
Amman Chamber of Industry and the Investment Authority, provided a great
opportunity for the Jordanian industrial companies to present their products to
the Qatari traders and importers.
He pointed out that the
exhibition opened by the Minister of State for Investment Muhannad Shehadeh and
Qatari Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari was supported
by many bodies, foremost among them the Amman Chamber of Industry, the
Investment Authority, the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the
Jordanian and Amman Trade Unions.
The exhibition, which lasted
three days with the participation of 100 industrial companies representing
various sectors, was one of the largest events held locally and abroad in terms
of the number of companies participating in it. He pointed out that the
exhibitions are an important commercial platform to promote the national
industry.
He pointed out that the
exhibition sought to promote the national industry and attract agents and
buyers from the Qatari traders and importers, explaining that the Qatari market
has a lot of investment and marketing opportunities for the sectors of
industry, trade and tourism therapeutic and entertainment.
The Kingdom's exports to Qatar
during the 11 months of last year 2018 about 87 million dinars, compared to 82
million dinars imports.
Jordan exports to Qatar plant
products, live animals, chemical industries, machinery, machinery, food, plastics,
articles of stone and ordinary metals, and various commodities and products,
while importing metal products, plastics, metals and chemical industries.
