A government source is expected to complete the preliminary studies of the joint industrial zone project with neighbouring neighbour Iraq early next month. The source said in a statement to "tomorrow": "Preliminary studies include the preparation of terms of reference from the preparation for the stage of submission of the offer (request for a proposal) is currently implemented by the Jordanian Iraqi Company".
 He pointed out that this step paves the way for bidding, especially with regard to the appointment of a consulting company will work to provide details and economic feasibility of the project.
It is noteworthy that the Jordanian-Iraqi industrial zone, which was announced on the border is located on an area of 4,000 square kilometres, equally between the two countries.
