The
CEO of Jordan Industrial Cities Company Omar Jouaid said that what is happening
in the city of Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Industrial in Karak, specifically
Al-Jamal Company for the clothing industry is the study of research with all
relevant parties, to ensure the best solutions and adjustments to maintain the
continuity of work in the company.
"The Industrial Cities
Company pays great attention to the existing industrial companies within its
industrial cities to ensure their sustainability and continuation of the
production and development process," he said in a press release. He
praised the march of the camel company, one of the largest industrial
investments in the Jordanian industrial cities in general and in the industrial
city of Karak in particular. He added that Al-Jamal Company has contributed in moving the wheel of
economy and development in Karak governorate, in addition to providing hundreds
of job opportunities in various fields of employment, which amounted to about
1500 jobs. Information recently circulated about the intention of the company to
close its factory in the city of industry in Karak on the background of a
customs issue dating back to 2015, which is currently before the Customs Court
to decide.
