The Income Tax and Sales Tax Department, which has tax assets, has called for using the remaining period to benefit from the decision of the Council of Ministers to exempt all fines and the initiative to pay their balances before the end of the day on Thursday, 28 February. 

The Assistant Director General of the Department, Mousa Tarawneh, said that the decisions of the Council of Ministers included the approval of the exemption of the taxpayer from all the fines and civil compensation due in his own case, when he paid the original income or sales tax not exceeding 500 thousand dinars, and allowed the instalment of their assets provided that the payment Full amounts due before the end of this year. 

The Department indicated that the directorates and their centers continue to receive the taxpayers who wish to benefit from the decision of the Council of Ministers to extend the period of exemption from fines until the end of this month. 

It is noteworthy that the rate of exemption of fines will fall to 50 percent during the month of March next.
