Jordan Industrial City (JEDCO) CEO Omar Juayd announced that
the company will begin the expansion of Al Hassan industrial park on 220 dunums
in early April.
He said during a meeting on Sunday with the chairman and members of the
Association of investors of the city of Hassan Industrial: The expansion was
referred to a local contracting companies specialized in the construction of
industrial buildings on an area of 20 thousand square meters to accommodate
the growing demand for investment in the city, which has been fully operational
and includes until the end of last year more Of 150 companies. He pointed
out that the new expansion is scheduled to be announced after the completion of
the third expansion in 2013, which has a total area of 145 dunums. It included
25 investment plots with a total area of 11,500 square meters spread over 16
typical factories, From a strong tributary of the national economy from the
investments it embraces and the jobs it provides.
The company, in cooperation with the city administration and the society, is in
the process of developing a priority plan for work within the city, including
the development of infrastructure and maintenance and rehabilitation of the
streets to ensure the convenience of the investor and ease of activity within
the industrial city. The chairman of the society, Emad Al Nadaf, praised the proposals
presented by the Industrial Cities Company, which is considered the first
supporter of investment in the city. He affirmed the association's readiness to
implement many initiatives to activate the economic movement in the city.
He pointed to the need to involve the mayors and facilitate the process of
their involvement in investment work in various industrial cities to facilitate
the investment process.
He called on the members of the Assembly to do more to alleviate the suffering
of the industrial sector under the current circumstances, and the lack of
employment opportunities that the industrial sector can develop.
