Al-Jaghbair: King's Visit to Iraq is pushing for Implementation of Strategic Projects between The two Countries

The official visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Iraq yesterday gives a strong impetus to the implementation of the projects agreed between the two countries, increasing economic integration, as well as the culmination of the distinguished political relationship between the two parties. 
Al-Jaghbair said in a statement issued yesterday that the symbolic visit of His Majesty to Iraq has great significance, as his visit will resolve many files stuck between the two sides, pointing to the great optimism that prevailed in the productive sectors in Jordan immediately after the announcement of his visit to Iraq. 
He pointed out that Iraq is a major market for Jordanian exports, while the disruption caused by the security unrest in Iraq in recent years led to the «limited» Jordanian exports, which caused the closure of Jordanian factories exported to Iraq. 
Engineer al-Jaghbair expressed his optimism for the future Jordanian-Iraqi economic relations, especially after the agreement on the establishment of a free industrial city at the Trebil crossing, and the implementation of the pipeline project for oil from Iraqi Basra to the port of Aqaba and the activation of the Iraqi Council of Ministers 2017 exemption of a number of Jordanian goods from customs, As of February, and the agreement on the Jordanian-Iraqi electrical connection through the network and the treatment of the Jordanian contractor treatment of the Iraqi contractor in Iraq. 
He pointed out that the visit of His Majesty the King to Iraq is a milestone in the consolidation of relations between the two sides, and push for the rapid establishment of all the security and logistical conditions and infrastructure for the return of land traffic between the two sides through the Trebil crossing.
