Musa Al-Saket inaugurated the first scientific day for renewable energy
organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Isra University in the presence
of Dr. Bassam Malkawi,
Al-Saket said that energy importing countries such as Jordan are facing huge
challenges and huge economic burdens as a result of the growing labour market
in the various sectors. This highlights the importance of developing local
energy sources, especially renewable energy, as one of the options to alleviate
these burdens and achieve stability and supply security. Energy, indicating
that the cost of imported energy constitute about (10%) of the gross domestic
product in Jordan.
Engineer Al-Saket reviewed the stages of a campaign made in Jordan, where in
the beginning it focused on addressing the Jordanian citizen directly through
direct advertisements and promotional brochures that highlight the importance
of the national industry.
