The relations between the two countries are deeply rooted,

Chamber of Industry will organize an exhibition of Jordanian industries in the
city of Jenin during the month of April next as part of the strategy of the
Chamber aimed at increasing Jordanian exports to the Palestinian market as one
of the target markets for the Jordanian industry,
This came during a
meeting held in the premises of the Chamber in the presence of the Governor of
Jenin, Major General Akram Rajoub and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of Jenin Zoukan Abu Bakr Board member of the Jenin Chamber Ahmed
Nazzal, Director General of the Chamber Mohammed Kamil and representatives of
Tamimi organization of exhibitions and its agent in Palestine, The exhibition
was attended by members of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of
Industry, Eng. Musa Al Sakat, Vice President of the Chamber of Industry of Amman,
Tamim Al Qasrawi, Secretary of the Board, Ahmed Al Khudari, Treasurer of the
Board, Saad Yassin, Deputy Secretary, Unburden Jordan
Industry Mohammed Walid Jitan and Director General of the Amman Chamber of
Industry Dr. Nael Housami.
The Chamber will work
to ensure that the Jordanian participation in this exhibition is large and
diverse and includes all sectors, especially since the Chamber benefited from
its previous experiences in organizing exhibitions in Palestine. The exhibition
will be the fifth after it was held in Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron and Beit Which
has witnessed a significant turnout by Jordanian industrialists, stressing that
despite the obstacles of the occupation, which led to the lack of access to a large
number of them necessary to participate, but this will not stand in the way of
continuing to hold an annual exhibition in the Palestinian territories, The
room was ready for Cooperation with the Federation of Palestinian
Chambers for the establishment of an exhibition of Palestinian industries in
the Kingdom.
For his part, Major
General Akram Rajoub, Governor of Jenin, said that all the concerned bodies
will contribute to the success of this exhibition by facilitating the issuance
of entry permits for Jordanian participants, as well as arranging for bilateral
working meetings between the Jordanian and Palestinian sides, noting that what
distinguishes Jenin from other cities The city of Jenin is considered the third
largest Palestinian city in the West Bank after Hebron and Nablus.
He pointed out that
there is international and Arab pressure to reconsider the economic gap in the
Paris Protocol between the Palestinian Authority and the occupation
authorities, stressing that the biggest beneficiary of the amendment of this
protocol will be Jordan by increasing its export to the Palestinian market.
