"Made in Jordan" Launches Media Awards in Cooperation with The Syndicate "Journalists"

The head of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbair, stressed that the national industry constitutes one of the pillars of the Jordanian economy and its progress. It contributes about a quarter of the gross domestic product and the balance of payments is more than 7 billion dollars as a product of exports and investment. 

During the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between the Jordan-Jordan campaign and the Jordan Journalists Syndicate in the presence of Tamim Al-Qasrawi, Chamber Secretary, Dr. Maher Al-Mahrouq, Director General of the Jordan Chamber of Industry and Dr. Nael Al Husami, Director General of the Amman Chamber of Industry. , But is a support for the homeland and the future of generations, the industrial sector is able to create new job opportunities for Jordanians in light of high unemployment rates among young people. 

Jordanian Journalists Syndicate Chairman Rakan Al-Saaydeh said that the Syndicate welcomes its cooperation with the Amman Chamber of Industry as a pillar of the national economy. He added that the Syndicate of Journalists puts its resources at the disposal of the industry, believing that supporting the national industry is in the interest of the economy. 

For his part, the head of the committee overseeing the "Made in Jordan" campaign, Eng. Musa al-Saket, said that the difficult economic conditions that are going on in the Kingdom require the concerted efforts of the ministries, official institutions and private sector actors to support our national economy and productive sectors, especially the industrial sector. The state of production called for by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn al-Hussein. 

He pointed out that the campaign was launched several years ago by the Amman Chamber of Industry, the Jordanian Foundation for the Development of Economic Projects and the Chambers of Industry in the Kingdom and a number of ministries and official bodies to inform the local consumer of the quality of the national industry and the great role it plays in supporting the Jordanian economy and manpower. And to urge citizens to buy national products in conjunction with the call for industrialists to develop their products to meet the needs and tastes of citizens at appropriate prices, pointing out that the committee includes in its membership a number of institutions, including the Jordanian Journalists Syndicate. 

During the meeting, Al-Saket reviewed the five axes of the campaign, including the axis of the production state and the stages that the campaign has undergone since its launch. 

The memorandum of cooperation includes the establishment of a series of media awards whose main content on the Jordanian industry and the campaign "Made in Jordan" includes the best television report, the best press report, the best newspaper article and the best radio report, in addition to the establishment of a series of specialized training courses in the union center. How to cover and write press releases about Jordanian industries and highlight the achievements achieved through it locally and internationally, as well as organizing a group of field visits to journalists and media to a number of factories and industrial areas to inform them of the quality of the national industries and Keeping pace with global developments.
