The Jordan ICT Association (JIT) chaired the Jordanian delegation participating in the exhibition «SSPEX Iraq», which was launched yesterday under the auspices and participation of the Iraqi Ministries of Interior, Communications, Transport, Industry and Minerals. 

The delegation includes 4 companies from the sector, which is one of the largest exhibitions of Iraq and the most important to specialize in the construction of modern systems for all ministries and Iraqi institutions. The Jordanian delegation is headed by Dr. Bashar Hawamdeh, Chairman of the Board
of Directors of the Association, as the association's participation comes to pave the way for its members to enter the Iraqi market. 

It seeks to establish and strengthen cooperation with Iraqi institutions, especially after the visit of the Iraqi president to Jordan, while Jordanian companies have extensive experience serving the requirements of the Iraqi market. 

Dr. Hawamdeh said that participating in the exhibition is important in order to pave the way for the members of the association to enter the Iraqi market and contribute to its reconstruction, especially in fields that intersect with the work of Jordanian IT companies. 

Dr. Hawamdeh praised the efforts of the Jordanian ambassador in Iraq, Montaser al-Aqla, pointing out that the latter began arranging official Iraqi meetings with the Jordanian companies participating in the exhibition. 

He stressed the importance of the Iraqi market for Jordanian companies, considering that this market is attractive to Jordanian exports in the fields of information technology and communications.
