The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, stressed that true partnership between the government and the private sector always results in economic and investment decisions that support the business environment in the Kingdom, given that the private sector can deliver its messages in the right way and at the right time.
He said that the Prime Minister's decision to allow the children and spouses of non-Jordanian investors who obtained investment cards issued by the Ministry of Investment and the Jordan Group for Free and Development Zones to work in all professions in projects owned by their families, and to exempt them from the requirement to obtain a work permit, is one of the important decisions in its place. To support the investment environment.
In a press statement, Eng. Jaghbir said that this decision diversifies experiences, facilitates investors and enhances the business environment in the Kingdom, pointing out that there is a good group that will benefit from this decision.
He stressed that this decision contributes to attracting non-Jordanian investment to the Kingdom, and also works on developing the existing ones locally, especially since the family business in the Kingdom is an existing and vital model for companies operating in Jordan.
The decision also included allowing the children and spouses of non-Jordanian investors who obtained investment cards issued by the Ministry of Investment and the Jordanian Group Company for Free Zones and Development Zones to work in all professions for any employer and according to the procedures in force with the Ministry of Labor, in accordance with the legislation in force.
Jaghbir stressed the need to provide investors with capabilities at all levels to support the establishment and sustainability of their investments in the Kingdom.
