This Fair is considered to be the largest specialized fair in Europe in the pharmaceutical industries field, where it is held in an estimated area of 40 thousand m2 and  is the oldest and  largest fair in the world. It has been annually held since 1949 and attracts no less than 23000 visitors during every year and not less than 500 exhibiters in their fields of specialization.
