We would like to inform you that the European Jordanian Institute for Business Development/Positive, the training arm of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, invites you to attend a certified training program by the Skills Development and Enhancement Authority titled "Foundational Safety: Basic Principles of Occupational Safety and Health." The program will take place from December 17th to 21st, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 20 training hours over 5 days.
Program Agenda:
Recognizing the importance of occupational safety and health.
Familiarizing with national safety standards.
Identifying accident prevention methods.
Identifying main risks in the workplace and prevention methods (physical, chemical, electrical, mechanical risks).
Identifying types of fires, firefighting methods, and prevention.
Understanding the types and principles of using personal protective equipment.
Familiarizing with key principles of first aid.
Understanding methods of inspecting workplace sites.
Learning how to investigate workplace accidents.
The target audience for this program includes all factories, companies, and institutions with fewer than 20 employees.
