We would like to inform you that the Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee has decided to set the selling price of natural gas for industries for the month of June 2022, at (5.750) dinars per million British thermal units, according to the following details:
- The average price of Egyptian natural gas for the contractual quantities
is (7.32) US dollars per million British thermal units, excluding tax,
provided that the tax is added according to the decisions of the Council
of Ministers in particular.
- A service allowance to cover the additional administrative and financial costs of the National Electric Power Company (0.10) per million British thermal units.
- The cost of transporting natural gas through the main natural gas pipeline from Aqaba to the final consumption sites (0.64) US dollars per million British thermal units.
- Allowance for sales and marketing services (0.05) US dollars per million British thermal units.
